Our mission is to conserve, protect and restore viable ecosystems in Africa, and to support, encourage and assist in the education of African children. Bushmeat poaching is becoming a serious problem throughout Africa. We are supporting real efforts on the ground where we able. The people of Kenya depend upon revenues from tourism, which will fade away as species disappear. In conjunction with this work, we are assisting the local communities by supporting their schools. This is a work in progress. What we have done thus far is to provide basic school supplies and put in a water tank at one school in the Mara region. We have also begun work with Samburu children in Northern Kenya. In May and June we will do a complete assessment of the needs and make a businees plan for sustainable long term assistance to these schools in conjunction with the Elders and school commissioners. The reasons for this are manifold, but the primary reason is that we are concerned for the ecosystem, and the human population is a most significant portion of that ecosystem.
