Acknowledgements
To date Amara Conservation has been funded through many individual donations from the US and the UK, (e.g. An Arbor Area Community Foundation), corporate donations (e.g. Ford Motor Company/Land Rover Corporation, vehicle donation), legal support (The Annis Foundation), and of course, volunteers. Amara has also worked closely with other African NGO's and the Kenya Wildlife Service as partners on projects that have similar goals. We have helped fund antipoaching and community scout programs, wildlife rehabilitation and rescues and community development projects with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Bill Woodley Mt. Kenya Trust, Maasailand Preservation Trust, Anne K. Taylor Fund, and the Ol Malo Trust.
